My name is Brittany Fry. I am a professionally licensed Esthetician (Tricoci University), holding a BS in Psychology from IUPUI and an MBA from Purdue University Global.
I have had both the honor and privilege to provide camera-ready artistry for elite and celebrity clients, including Yandy Smith, Kym Whitley, Joy Reid, and Jaime Nared. I also serve as the Lead Makeup Artist for Summer Grays and the cast of the upcoming television series, Indy Bosses.
The Evolution of an Artist
A lot of my clients ask me how and why I transitioned into makeup. The truth is, I have always been an artist. I first discovered my talent as a young girl, drawing Mickey Mouse—a passion that quickly evolved into sketching intricate Disney and Looney Tunes characters.
Later, I enrolled in still-life art courses, where I mastered technical stenciling, shading, and dimensions. I would spend my free time sketching detailed portraits from YM magazine or writing poetry, always deep in my creative flow with music playing in the background. I was particularly captivated by the eyes; I loved using precise shading to make them come to life, capturing depth and dimensions that made them appear to reflect light and twinkle. Shading and contouring portraits became my favorite focus because it gave faces hyper-real depth. This is why gray remains one of my absolute favorite colors to this day. As I grew, my canvas simply shifted, and that raw artistic talent seamlessly transferred into high-definition makeup artistry.
